 Bio

Kate is an artist working in the Connecticut and New York area. She first saw microscopy imagery while she was working in pathology as a MFA student in art. She describes first seeing images of cells as beautiful little worlds of wonder. In 2009 she began using cells as her source material in digital abstractions. Her work in abstraction has been described as poetic narration where the story is left open to many possibilities allowing each viewer a unique account.
